What is Wireless Broadband?
This is a connection to the internet using Mobile Phone type technologies. That means that anywhere you can get a mobile phone signal you can connect to the internet.
This differs from "regular" Wireless Broadband, or ADSL, where you have a modem connected to your landline & a wireless router then connects to your computer, with no wires. The signal is of much shorter range & uses completely different technologies. At Locall Australis we can do both - wireless using a modem/router in your home, which is connected to your phone line, & wireless more like a mobile phone type service.
