These plans have been designed to provide the “normal” internet user, who makes up over 90% of all internet users, with a service that has no additional monthly fees or speed shaping restrictions.

If you typically use one or more of the following then these plans are for you:
Web Browsing, Email, Instant Messaging, Video Streaming such as YouTube and ABC iView, Internet telephone such as Skype, Google Talk, VoIP and Gaming, such as Xbox Live, Playstation and common PC games.

If you use the following – then these plans are not for you and you should look at our standard ADSL plans:
Usenet / newsgroups, such as NNTP & NNTPS; Peer2Peer applications - torrents, Gnutella, Napster, eDonkey, Limewire etc; Virtual Private Networking; and some uncommon or obscure protocols.

Tasmanian Customers Please Note: New connections as of the 1st of September 2008. We regret that we must pass on an additional surcharge to provide ADSL in your state. ADSL plans with speeds up to 1500Kbps will be charged an additional $3 per month, & plans up to & including 8000Kbps will incur additional $10 per month charge.

Static IP address is NOT available on these plans. AUP may be enforced if it is shown that an individual service is impacting on quality of Network Abuse, or in breach of Material terms.

There is no fixed amount of data a subscriber can download whilst on the Unlimited Web Plan. However the traffic profile is "web only" and excessive consumption is subject to traffic de-prioritisation. Excessive consumption will result in a users traffic being marked as “expendable” priority for a period of up to 6 hours. This is to protect other users on the network from congestion. Refer to the Traffic Management Policy for additional clarification of how priorisation works within our network.
